Our Beliefs
Below, you will find our statement of faith. In short, we have a high view of Scripture, we love Jesus, we embrace the power of the Holy Spirit, we emphasize the importance of community, and we are missional (which pretty much means we put feet to our faith). Having a Reformed foundation, the lead pastor is conservative in his theology but charismatic in ministry practice. We do not think these things are at odds with each other. We believe God is raising up more and more churches in these last days that will marry the strengths of the Word with the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God
We believe the Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, to be the divinely inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.

Triune God
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, the Only Savior
We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died a physical death on the cross to make atonement for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. We believe there is no other name men can call upon for salvation from God’s future wrath and judgment.

Holy Spirit
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ, convict men of sin, regenerate the sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Spiritual Gifts and the Baptism of the Spirit
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are needed and still manifest today. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a crucial experience for every born again believer as it releases them into powerful and effective service.

Fallen State of Man
We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore totally lost, unable and unwilling to turn to God. It is only by the effectual call of God and regeneration by the Holy Spirit that any man will turn to God and put his trust in Christ.

Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a gift of God and not a result of man’s works. We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.

The Church
We believe the invisible, universal Church is composed of all regenerated believers who are united together by the grace of Jesus Christ. The local church is a visible manifestation of this true Church. It is vital that every true believer be committed to a local church. True fruit and personal growth are nurtured best in a covenant community.

The Return
We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and this hope has a vital bearing on the present life and service of the believer.

Resurrection of the Body and Hell
We believe in the physical bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the non-believer to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
