The Powers of Laughter

  1. Read Proverbs 31:25. What is something about your future that stops you from laughing? What is a situation you had in the past where you were able to laugh?
  2. One power to laugh about the future is having no fear. Fear grips you from moving forward. What is one area of fear that you have or had?
  3. There must be a covering of safety in order to truly walk in no fear. In what ways has coming out to New Philly given you a sense of safety and security? How has this improved your relationship with the Lord and with others?

    Laughter as a Weapon

  7. Sachach is the Hebrew word for laugh. It also means to laugh at in contempt especially towards someone that is trying to bring you harm but unable to do anything at all. The Proverbs 31 woman had an understanding that laughter was a weapon. The enemy is powerless to do anything at all. What is one area of your life right now that you can use laughter as a weapon?
